3/29 - VII

Okay. For me, he MSWord note taking deal would seem to be the way to go for the high school for note taking on texts pulled from the web. The concept could then be transferred to photoco-pied pages from hard texts. We will see.

As for the site directories, though they can focus kids, I still find nesting etc. more useful.

For high school, I agree that the electronic annotating works best. It really ends up being the way most adults note take. Using nesting in a full google search probably works best for you because you have the critical thinking skills to evaluate the information you find. We need to teach, or try to teach, that to kids.

No question- the criticl thinking skills are the key etc- and it would be cool to get them to be able to find all they need by googling or whatever properly with a couple of other stategies available.
